Hello!
I just bought a 1992 z32 with 120k miles. Clean, stock, well maintained. My plans are to simply restore the car to its original glory. Some minor upgrades here and there, but the goal here is really longevity, simplicity, and maintenance. Super excited.
One of the first little post-dinner projects was antenna removal since the motor was busted. As I see it there are 4 options moving forward:
1. Replace the antenna and motor. But why tho? Who needs an antenna?
2. Don't replace antenna. Bondo the hole so water can't get in. Leave it awkward looking. Shrug when people say "hey what happened to your antenna?"
3. Delete. Remove the antenna trim. Bondo. Sand. Paint.
4. Get creative.
What if I put a Z emblem right over it?? z1 sells a jdm Z emblem for the z32 nose but I've always loved the roof Z emblem on the Datsun Z's. Has anybody put these on top or in place of the antenna trim?

Am I crazy? There has to be somebody who's had this same idea, but a search revealed nothing. Anybody? Anybody??
