Right so my power antenna is dead. Fine I don't like it and think i want to have it shaved when I do the body work. However, Occasionaly its nice to have fm radio... Any suggestions on antennas that dont involve a whole in my quarterpanel or fender. I'm changing the hatch and will no longer have the rear wiper so I have the whole in the roof for the spray nozzle that I could use for a roof mount antenna but i'm not sure. Is it possible to add those "on-window" antennas like newer model cars have? Suggestions?

There was a completely custom stereo install covered in Car Audio YEARS ago and they used some wires and made their own that went across the top of the windshield, they said it worked "okay".

Installing an ant was ot in option in the classic car, IIRC.

I dont very often listen to the radio but I would like to have the capability i may look into it. I was looking at one of those 7" "euro" amplified antennas on ebay for 27+ship with the idea of mounting on my roof where the rear window nozzle is.. Any thoughts on that?

Should work fine, but running the wire to that point in the car may be quite challenging.

Good Luck.
