Antenna and Carwash

Earlier today I made two mistakes with my J30. First I went to a cheap gas station car wash that didn't do the best job on my car. Second, I went in with my antenna up. Needless to say, the brushes bent that sucker down instantly so now I'll have to replace it. I'm actually thinking about fitting a normal, non- retracting antenna to the car because I never really liked power antennas to begin with. or maybe I'll just finish the car wash's job and break the antenna off and live without it since I rarely listen to anything other than my tapes and my MP3 player with tape adapter when in the car. I just thought somebody might be amused at my little incident.

I was not amused when I did the same thing. I've gone w/o for the past year. No AM stations, and poor reception on FM, but my favorite stations work. Replacements are pretty cheap, perhaps some day I'll get one.

The J30 looks better with the antenna down! In your case off, just take it out and have no antenna.
