Have a broken power antenna. Antenna-Motor still runs. So perhaps I can choose to replace the power-mast.

Question : Alternatives?1. would an aftermarket lower profile antenna be an option? whose?

2. have found a site http://www.carstereohelp.org/D...t.htmselling the replacement, & discussing re-installation on a MAXIMA. Is it similarly straightforward on the PATHFINDER?

you can get a replacement mast from the dealer at a resonable price. And yes it is basically the same proceedure as the max except your motor is inside the right front fender well. you would need to pull down the fender liner to gain access to the motor. If your old mast came out with out breaking the inner cable you wont need to pull the motor out to remove the broken peices. if the end of the old mast cable is rounded and not squred off is how you tell if it broke.
