Ant infestation

OK, so I have ants in my car. At first, I didn't think it was that bad, I thought they were just hanging around the car from somewhere outside. Yesterday though, I saw them carrying grubs around inside the car. This means there's a colony with a queen somewhere, right? Any idea how to get rid of 'em? I don't keep any food or trash in my car, so I don't know why they decided to start a nest in my car. Do you think putting down some Amdro would help? Or should I maybe fog the whole car? Any ideas are appreciated, thanks.

This is a funny sounding post.. sorry... But yes fogging the car should kill them be sure to not have engine running

Yeah, I laughed my @$$ off when I realized I have mobile ant farm . But it's prolly a good idea to get rid of them b4 they start causing any damage.

They do the same in my car...They come ever once in a while....but the florida heat takes care of them as soon as the sun comes out. Just put a little spot of the ant killer food. Sit back, shift, and laugh as they take their last meal.

u can get these little traps and the ants go in and take little peices of poisin back to the other ants and they all eat it.i have those in my house, works pretty good.

You might want to pull up the carpet or where ever they are at and vaccum them out. A shot of ant killer should do the trick.

Hahhaaha, sorry but its pretty funny. Chances are its not a big colony, so some of the ant drops or the walk in ant traps should rid them pretty quickly. Pretty cool ants they have good taste in cars

after a while, I noticed lines of ants coming in and out for about a week

when I found the poison, it was ALL gone except for the tray

I had ants in my Pulsar once. I ripped out the carpet and sucked the buggers (heh) out with a gas station vacuum. I had to take out the seats though (bleh) so it took a while.It turned out they were nested in the trunk with some old whipped cream can (dont ask).

I got ants once from parking near an ant mound. When it rained, they sought higher ground which happened to be up my tire. Do you ever think how far an ant must walk to go up the tire, across the suspension, and eventually find its way into your car's interior?

I know someone who things about things like that, Fred. You should hear some of the things he thinks about. It all makes sense to me, I just don't know what to say sometimes. Stuff just comes out of nowwhere. I guess thats why I like hanging out with him!
