I will have my car lowered by Eibach's with a +37 offset, I want to know if they will rub.
Also, Since our cars stock are +45 offset is it recommended that I stick with the factory offset? I've been reading a bit and it seems that any other offset thats not the factory will cause premature wear. I track my car a few times in the summer, will a +37 offset add extra wear to all the joints and etc?
The reason I'm asking about +37 is because the dealer told me that it would look really good on our cars. Which got me thinking. I also asked him what are the cons of different offset and he said none. I'm not too sure about that. If I get an alignment done will it basically make the car ride like normal? normal wear and all?
Thanks for all the help guys.
The work xt7's I have are 18x8.5 with a +38 offset it should not rub, but to put it all in perspective
Your wheels will go in by 5mm and stick out an extra 21mm from where they are.
mine I believe will stick out 26mm.
From what I can gather 35mm is the lowest one should go on a lowered ride.
