I bought these 17 inch rims from a buddy and the tires are shot. I got stock rims and suspension on my 92 fastback. Id like to know if they will swap right out before I buy new tires for them. the tires im runnin on right now are 195/60 and the 17"s are 205/40. if not what can I do to get this done? any help would b appreciated

Need bolt pattern and offset info to answer. This info "may" be stamped on the inside of the wheel near the hub.

I don't think even universal fits all bolt patterns. Most likely it's drilled for 2 different patterns. Need to make sure which ones and the offset.

What car were they on before?

He had em on a 5bolt neon. what kind of number am i looking for for the offset. Im just trying to figure out if they are too wide for my ride. Id hate buy tires for em to have them chewed right up. That would suck

If they're 7" wide, they're not too wide for your car.

You say "5bolt neon", so is your car a 5 lug. Most early year 240's are not.

And just as a guess, the offset # for them is probably in the 40's (from a front wheel drive car) and you need something in the 20's.

Based on the info you've provided so far, I'd so it's not likely they'd fit or be worthwhile.
