No, you pay a deductible any time you file a claim UNLESS:Vahagn23 wrote:I thought u pay for deductible if you hit the car or if it was your fault
Whoa!! You might want to call your insurance company and find out how much your premiums go up with a lower deductible. I used to have my deductible at $250, but read that unless you plan on getting into a lot of accidents $500 is a good rate to be at. I figure I'm a safe driver so a $500 deductible makes a lot of sense. Of course, I didn't take ignorant, irresponsible bleepity-bleeps into the equation.Vahagn23 wrote:oh that sucks, my deductibles are 1k each lol, so lets say someone hits me how do I file through their insurance and what does my insurance do for me?
I'm sure your premiums are much higher then mine then.TheClevelandSound wrote:Yeah well my insurance company has deductables for faults only, im with nationwidel ol idk what ur with.
holy cow... he did THAT in a parking lot? What was he doing, the Grand Prix of Shopping Cart Land? That's not even subtle.
Yep, in the parking lot. No surveillance cameras, but how I wish they did. See, it took place at a brew pub, so I'm guessing the person was drunk, or had enough to drink that they didn't want to get the cops involved. I mean, even if the person who hit my car had 2 beers and was under the limit, they probably would have still been nailed for driving under the influence. So, knowing that they probably got the heck out of there, leaving me with a $500 bill.Ever Victorious wrote:

probably why they left. Where you were, did they have surveillance cameras on the parking lot?
