wow. that thing runs beautifully. my engine shakes a good bit at idle. i've played with timing and everything and can't quite figure it out.

haha thanks guys. bare in mind that idle is merely a throttle body trick. My AIC isn't working correctly I think its do to the fact it isn't hooked up to MAF right now I"m controlling my idle through the throtttle body cable, but thats alright in my book as long as the damn thing runs. Once I get the driveshaft fixed I willl most definately have pictures of it driving and maybe even going sideways. thanks again. just wish me luck that the driveshaft is the only problem.

nice job Gore, looks awesome, noticed that you didn't use the cooling fan that was on the engine but you went electrical, smart move.

wow that thing is dead sexy. Did you have to sacrifice a stock prop shaft for the joints?

feel free to ask, its a custom turbo back exhaust with a magnaflow muffler. the car is far too loud but I can deal with it. the video is only of my neighborhood because I only just replaced my driveshaft today, and was able to drive the glorious beast past 20. so far I've run a 1.8gti and made him cry but he whizzed by with the ricer flyby. I also ran into another 240, I dont know what he had but it was real metallic sounding like maybe KAT or Sr20 but I Can't really say that about the sr because I haven't heard it. regardless to say I lost running far too rich and spraying black smoke everywhere. hopefully I can get my safc2 in gear and lean it out a bit.

waiting on a flywheel, redamnavit (sp?) said I could get his when his lightened one comes in. He says it should be at his door sometime this week so thats basically the last thing (till something els comes up :( ). So I'm not sure maybe next week monday or tuesday I hope. Might have to run a MBC as well to control boost or I might just use the wastegate and try run about 10psi. Hopefully I will be able to piss off the nieghbors agian soon, man do I miss that.

thanks guys, the car is running beautifully. I appreciate the vast amount of help I've gotten from everyone here on the board. I'll get some good videos soon, maybe some high speed runs and some sideways action. Definately sounds better without the timing chain. ;D

nice car great setup .. remember mine when i started it up with everything ... nice idle, screaming exhaust and bov , hehe too hot.

will you try to get the radiator hose off the cold pipe from your intercooler ? when that hose getting hot, it will transfer heat from your already cooled air ..kinda cancel the effect of your nice intercooler :)

i dont know if its gonna heat it very much but i will look at it

haha its going to be a while actually I just moved to orlando and I dont have access to a digicam that will stream the video over to the computer. the one I have is micro mv its super small but it wont stream the video for crap, but I"m definately going to try. my car is running so rich its turning the back end black. I hope to fix that once my safc2 is hooked up correctly.
