Another trip to the dealer...

So, when the weather turned chilly I started noticing a high pitched noise coming from under the hood. It sounded like it could’ve been a belt, but I wasn’t sure. I made an appointment at Berman’s Infiniti of Merrilville to get checked out. Just heard from them and found out my rack and pinion was leaking and needed to be replaced. I am SO glad I bought the Infiniti extended warranty. In addition to that problem, the latch on my rear armrest broke. The whole armrest needs to be replaced. $4,000 worth or repairs and it’s going to cost me $100.

Also, I must say this is an AWESOME dealership. There’s another dealer much closer to my home that is horrible. I drive 30 minutes each way to get their superior service. And they gave me a pretty cool loaner, too

Awesome, glad to hear that your investment is paying off. How many miles on your vehicle currently and when does the warranty run out?

Entertain me, how much did they quote for this part right here?
My M56 rear armrest latch was broken as well, so I got one from a 2006 M45 and installed it. Yup! you bet it's the same one on the 2003 M45 as well. Family runs deep, and sharing is caring. lol

No, 4k total...it was estimated at about $2,000-2,500 for the rack and pinion. The armrest was another $1,200. I also got a free oil change because of the good review I gave them from my last visit

Unfortunately, no interior pics. The purple stitching was pretty cool, but I wouldn't buy a car with it (maybe red or blue for me). It was like a dark violet.
