The jack and spare tire rod was banging around the back of the truck. Found a way to fix it and look nice. I have king cab, but will work in any cab. You need to clip it to back of the cab inside behind seat. Go to junk yard and get the 2 clips that hold the visors to the roof, they are perfect size for the jack rod. Drill two small holes and mount those clips to back of the cab inside, the openings are perfect to hold the jack rod tight and noise free. I had to remove the metal panel just under back window drop carpet and drill pilot holes. Dropped the carpet down to drill then put it all back and looks factory. If no carpet, drill where you like. I put mine just below back window to clear speaker box. Cheap and easy and rod is easy to reach but no longer rattles around in back. The clips cost 1 buck, I love cheap stuff.
