It totally depends on the tire, and where you drive your car. Why do you want a rediculous stretch anyways?~4N~ wrote:I just wanted to ask if anyone could tell me what the smallest tires are that can be stretched on 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 wheels. Thanks for any info.
They are 18s. You don't need to stretch to have like no sidewall flex, because you will be running ultra ultra low profile tires. If you must, run 225 front and 235 rear. Anything smaller would be stupid.~4N~ wrote:I want the stretch for some fun, plus it'll make the 18's look less big on my S13. I know 18's are pretty ridiculous for any action, but I'm getting them for pretty much free, so I'm going for it. For tires, I'll probably be going with Kumho, unless I find something cheaper.
Werd. However, he is already kinda screwing himself over with 18s.nismofly wrote:"kuhmo, unless i find anything cheaper"
repeat after me:
"i do not want cheap tires, i do not want cheap tires, i do not want cheap tires"
the most important part on the car is not the one to spend the least money on
and yes, those sizes, absoulte minimum, more is better
