I'm not quite as hard on the stock Continentals as some others, but I still wouldn't consider buying them again - there are just too many far better choices. I've owned really bad Goodyear tires in the past so these Continentals have been ok for me, and I think the traction control and ABS of the Rogue is so great that it gives me the impression that the tires are better than they actually are.
I checked the rating on TireRack.com and the Continental 4x4 Contacts got a 5.8/10 and price listed at a whopping $155 each, whereas the Hankook Optimo and Yokahama TRZ both had a rating over 8/10 and are both priced right around $100. So it's really a no brainer, stay away from Continental.
I'm starting to plan to replace my stock tires in about 6 months and would like to go with either of the above Hankook or Yokahama tires, both of which have received very good reviews from Rogue owners on this forum, link:

I still rely on all-seasons for my limited winter driving rather than doing the seasonal swap to winter tires, so I really appreciate the solid snow and ice ratings that these tires provide - it's by no means on par with winter tires but with my conservative driving in winter I've never had any close calls. Ideally I'd like to get the Nokian all-weather tires but they are quite expensive, around $1250 to install on my Rogue which really hurts but I will still consider them - since I avoid having to purchase two sets to accomodate winter driving and an additional set of winter rims, one could say that $1250 is pretty reasonable....I still have time to think it over.
