I just picked up a set of G37 sport rims and I'm throwing them on my G35 Coupe. So I'm thinking of throwing my G35 OEM's on my 08 Altima sedan. I'm sure they will fit, I don't want to buy a new set of tires yet, so i'm wondering what kind of issues i'll have running my current set.

1. They're staggered.2. 225/40/18 f and 255/40/18 r3. 18x8 +30mm offsets all around

Thanks'

Your offsets are a little low - you're going to probably need spacers.

The tire diamaters are completely off - your speedometer is not going to be anywhere near where it needs to be. The 18" stock size for an altima would be 235/45/18 - your fronts are too small and your rears are too big.

I did a test fit with my 350z wheels on my friend 08 altima sedan with a pro kit drop and my offset is +30 in the front and +33 in the rear and when we put the rims on his car and drove on them there was no rubbing at all. Granted that was with 225/45/18 all around and not 255 in the rear.

Spacers will push the wheels out even more; lower offsets means the center of the wheel will be further away from the vehicle. +1 on the speedo, it's gonna be off.

OP - other people are running g35/g37 rims without any major issues. I thought I read someone had slight rubbing only when cornering hard. Do you have VDC? The difference in tire diameters may cause weirdness since they'll be spinning at different speeds.

Thanks for the info guys. I was about 99.99% percent sure that the tire combo was way outta wack.. I was hoping for that 1% to save a buck. I will end up getting 245/40/18's all around. From the online tire calc, it reads i am close to oem specs for the speedo. Do you think rubbing will be an issue? I will be at stock height, no plans for a drop yet. This is my baby get around towner
