another tach question

i have an 89 240 with a right hand drive converion from a car with a ca18det. it has the hud setup if that makes a diference .how do i make the tack work with the rb20?

Does the HUD tell you RPM??Never had one.I thought it just told you speed???

But pull the dash apart and see where the wire from the speed signal comes from then follow it towards the dash.
