(Another) swap question

Hey guys, sorry for having to post another tiring swap question, but the research I've done has given me allot of different answers.

I have a 94 jdm tt, series 2 ptu, phase 1 injectors. I have a few issues with my engine, and I'm getting my hands on an unknown year usdm engine for my car, rubbing a series one ptu. The as harness also runs differently then mine, and a few other small things.

So I've been trying to find out if there are any big mechanical differences or sensor locations (besides the oil connector, I know that's on the opposite side), if I can use my rhd 94 harness, my new series 2 ptu, my cas etc on an older z engine.

I can't imagine there being huge differences in component layouts, I plan on tearing this engine down, cleaning and rebuilding it fresh over the next year or so but I won't if it won't work. Just figured I'd get some input from some z gurus! Thanks in advance
