i read most of the thread that i can find and even came across this one that azhitman have done: zerothread/162443

there is only one question, would the same procedure apply to a 96 ka24de engine swaps into an 89? I was kind of getting confused since it is an obdII. if not what all do i need to swap it in to my 89 240sx?

Thanks.

I'm looking for the answer to this question aswell; I have a 90 240 and a 96DE that I am about to rebuild...

and all the guides are for s13 ka24de's.

If you find out; let me know; and I will do the same.

if you're using the 91-93 wiring harness then it doesn't matter, just follow the write up. If your wanting to use the 96 harness it will require rewiring to function properly. I did a 95 de and harness in a buddies 89, it runs as a 95, so its a matter as to what you'd like to do.
