I bought my 240 three years ago, bone stock. It's a 96' se with sunroof, fogs, 5spd and spoiler. Everything but vlsd.... It had 160,000 no it when i brought home so it needed some a little tlc. I used my borthers polishing wheel and three step polished it bringing back a sexy shine. The guy I bought it from drove a company car so the 240 sat for a year in a parking lot unused. first on the list of upgrades were as follows: the typical air intake and a HKS catback and Altima e-fans. the shocks were blown in the rear so four new KYB AGX's, then with the new shocks a found a new problem, subframe bushings in the rear where shot. I installed solid aluminium bushings from JDS performance. A year past from that point and I decided to turbo the stock motor, I did a lot of research on this site and many others. It took my almost two years to collect all the parts. This is my list of the turbo build:Jgs starter kit (manifold, wastegate, down pipe, dump tube, oil lines)Turbonetics t3/t04e a/r .48raptor bovDW 550cc injectorsgodspeed fmic (s14 ka24de)JWT ecuz32 mafwindow welded motor/trans. mountshallman boost controlerclutchmasters stage 3 AEM widebandautometer boost gaugesr 3" DP3" test pipeIm sure there is a few things i've missed. On with the pics....

Before intercooler install

after

I was very happy I could keep the fogs in stock placement.

I went with the godspeed kit so I didnt have to relocate the battery. It's not a bad kit for $300, it's identical to the greddy kit. I was able to keep the a/c too!I only have 100 miles on so far, still breaking in the clutch. I'm going to run 7- 10 psi, thats about all i care to take it to with motor having 169,000 miles on it. The open wastegate dump sounds bad a**, but i'm eventually going to route it back to the exhaust.Over all i am very pleased with how it came out. I still have a some odds and ends to take care of but its fully functional right now. What do you guys think?

Thats sounds very familiar to me it took me 2 years as well lol . looks very well done with good parts . I'm glad to see you didn't cut corners on the tuning. I thought the same as you when i started running it 7-10 psi max now i'm at 14 psi with a 170.000 miles on a stock block lol i kept bumping it up 2 psi at a time about every 4 months now im at 14 psi , thats all im doing though getting ready to drop in a forged rebuilt motor. I used jwt tune as well. Any way nice job and good luck . I like to see new ka-t's come out

Cool setup, very clean install. I'm running the same turbo as you.

My fuel delivery is very basic but want to get the 550cc's.

How did you go about getting the JWT tune, did you have to source an S13 ECU or did your stock one work for the tune?

they can do up to 96 when i had mine done . mine is a 96 and it works great . other than i pulled 5% fuel with a apexi neo but they are known to run conservative.

They tuned my 96' obd2 ecu, they are one of the few people that tune obd2 ecu's.It cost me $650 for the tune, flow testing the injectors and the shipping.A small price to pay for a good tune.

When I dyno it I will do a run at 7 psi and one at 10 psi. Maybe at the 1/4 mile track I will run some 100 octane and go 12-13 psi.

That intercooler does look identical to my greddy fmic, but when I had my zenki front I had to remove my foglights.

Nice turbo setup you got there, this car reminds me of how my car use to be years ago but with a better turbo kit than mine.

I'm not sure i really want to know my self but...... i will let you know it wasnt cheap. All new parts:jgs kit $996turbo $800 JWT tune $650DW 550cc inectors $300Z32 maf $100bov $225fmic $300aem wideband $220clutch kit $300down pipe $100test pipe $40Hallman boost controller $100catch can $20mcmaster valve $23vacuum block $22 Needless to say it was a lot of money, mind you it was all new parts minus the maf. Don't let that discourage you, it can be done for a lot less if you buy used parts.
