I took a four day vacation away from home and when i came back i put a new greddy type rs bov and rewired my mafs with some shielded wire from the ka24de harness. When i went to crank the car i dont remember hearing anything as if the fuel pump was running but just my fans, as i try to start the motor and acts and sounds like is about to turn complently over but doesnt and just keeps acting like it. Its an s13 redtop with upgraded fuel pump. i also noticed some oil under the motor and seen that my oil pressure plug was wet as well, but would that stop my car from firing? and if anyone has a pictures or diagrams on how the mafs is wired complently please post it. i'm open to any suggestions or "thinks" whats wrong from anyone. and remember my car was running just fine before messing with it when i got back.

::EDIT:: i hear a lot of air coming from around my injectors when the motor is trying to turn over. (or sounds like air) but this could have always happend before just never heard it as long as i do now.

I know this is redundant but I always keep the 3 simple things in mind:

Air - check for leaks, blocks, sensors, fuses, wiringFuel - leaks, blocks, fuses, wiringSpark - spark is spark, either its off or on, fuses, wiring

Check each system all the way through and youll find your problem. Also make use of or get yourself a voltage meter, processes in a motor can get really messed up from out of spec voltages and/or resistance.

ok i was checking the ecu for codes when i noticed the light didnt blink i took the blue clip off and check it for a ground....got nothing. i decided for the hell of it just to try starting to car to see what will happend and it did the exact same thing as when the ecu was plugged in so now im gonna recheck the whole harness.

ok today i went outside and took a test light with volt meter to several connections but when i took the plug to the cas i got no light meaning it has no power so then i moved onto the other plugs that are tied into that part of the harness and up by the fuel rail still didnt get any light....could this be something went bad in my ecu or a wire somewhere? anyone had this happen to them before.

i had a similar problem....no fuel or spark...went and got a new walbro because i had to upgrade anyway still no fuel...checked my ecu...had no blinking light when i did the self dianostics...so i borrowed a ecu and then car started....try that and maybe borrow an ignitor just in case
