Ok once again I have another problem with this damn motor. Heres the scoop. Just recently since yesterday really the car can't make high boost..cause at high boost..(high it is 12) it spits and spudders. it makes around 6 psi before it starts acting up. I checked all my pipes and hoses and they are fine. Im thinking its the fuel pump cause the car has 180k on it..and i ran 12 psi the third week I had it out and it slowly started to spit and spudder on heavy acceleration but this only started a few days ago. It drives and idles fine it just can't reach it high boost and when it does go to 10 spuddering all the way up there there is no power. The car isn't smokeing at all and I have plenty of oil and coolant. I apologize if this was covered before but I had such good luck askin questions on this form. If anyone knows or thinks they know what the problem please let me know

Thanks

Check your fuel pressure regulator...what type of boost control are you using?

Does it do it at the same rpm or anytime you hit more than 6 psi? Maybe timing is off. I dunno how to check the fuel pressure regulator to see if its bad but it does sound like a possibility. whats the wastegate actuator set at? Does it seem to run rich or lean? Are you using the stock fuel pump that came with the car? If you are it might be a good idea to change it out even if its not the problem.

also check your spark plugs, how are they gapped and do they look normal? are all the coilpacks still working right? does the exhaust sound broken or smooth?

180k miles on the car??? Didn't you upgrade the fuel pump when you swapped in the sr? Upgrade the fuel pump and retighten all your intercooler pipes back together.
