Another Speed-Sensor Question

I searched and could not find a definitive answer to this.

I am wanting to replace the gear on my speed-sensor to match the speedo in my cluster. I have a R33 RB25 in an S13-DE. Does the 25 produce a different pulse than what the DE cluster is expecting?

I had heard a Z32TT sensor with the RED gear is what I need. Just wanting to verify this.

A new Z32TT sensor with gear is almost $300 from Courtsey Parts, eek! If not I will buy another Dakota Digital SGI-5 (Speedometer Signal Interface).
