another small accident - someone reversed into my back bumper

I was in a crowded gas station and some 70 year old lady reversed into my back bumper. pics below, suggestions/repair costs welcome:

you should check to see if the black lower part of the bumper is scratched as well because the black part isn't paintable. My bumper has a few scratches on the lower part so the shop estimated about 800 to replace the whole bumper but I asked them only to repaint and ignore the bottom part to save 300 bucks

touch up paint should work great on that kind of scratch

the lady gave me a $300 check to cover the costs and a promise to pay for the rest. i tried touch up paint but ended up wiping it off b/c it didn't come out clean.

oh and the black lower part of the bumper isnt scratched

Dude that sucks. Well at least you know who did it and it wasn't a hit and run. I've seen that a lot over the last few years. The most important thing is that no one got hurt and it was get repaired. Hope it all goes good for you dude.

lol i have ducks and ducklings all around my neighborhood.

so my sisters boyfriend says he can remove the bumper, remove the clearcoat, paint the area and apply the clearcoat again... sound right? i just need to get the paint

trying to touch up paint, certain areas, with a paint gun usually turns out uneven and shady looking. I would drcolorchip that scratch
