Another slow 240 build

So im on vacation and extremely bored so i figured i'd make one of these.

Well, i first had a 1990 300zx 2+2, was mint except for a idling problem.

Then it was icy out and i was driving on about a mile long road and the whole road was clear except for about 40ft of it and it was dark out. Didn't see until i was close to it i was going about 45. Hit the ice went sideway passenger side first counter steered the car the other way, had to much correction, then over corrected in the grass, went into the ditch sideways. Made it threw the ditch, hit a random-a** pole. Spun the car around the other way and ended up o the other side of the pole. This is the result.

Then i sold the car for $600 was extremely stupid of me, but needed a car. I searched forever for a car mainly looking for a 240, but considering fc, and older bmws. Then i found a sohc maroon s13 for 1500. I was about a week away from having enough money. Then on the way to school i saw a 93 red hatch. I drove this road everyday with my friend, and never saw it till that day. We stopped and i got the number. I called him and i asked the price and he said $600. My first thought was it didn't have a engine, then he says it was a oil leek and a tear in the seat. with electrical problems. I told him i'd buy it that day, and he said he had problems with finding the title, and i had to wait for a couple of weeks. But luckily i went to the title place and you can a temporary title. I had no idea you could do this. So i test drove it around the block clutch was week as hell, and the motor was week also. So i figured what the hell its 600 bucks. So i bought it.

s*** as hell lol no passenger mirror, radio didn't work came with two amps and two subs ghetto rigged. The brake lights didn't work, nor did the passenger window.
So i was driving around one day and i ran into another guy with a 240 only talked to him a few times before this. I told him about my weak motor and he said pop the hood and he pulled all the plugs and found which one wasn't firing. I knew nothing about motors at the time, then we drove to his house and he gave me on of his old plug wire and advanced the timing and it ran perfectly.

So one random day i decided to attack my guides on my timing chain. Turned out horrible.
Broke every bolt on the head except one....
So my friend came over with an easy out, didn't work. So drilled them out to 8mm originally 7mm or 6mm can't remember. But anyways somehow the process took about a week between random trips to ace hardware school, and work. But during the time the valve cover was off i decided to paint it gangster like colors.

After i got it done, my motor was perfect. Quite, and running on all four cylinders was pretty sweet for about a week... Then guess what? Knock..Knock Who's there? It's your rod. ugh
So i babied the motor for about two weeks, then one day i was like this is so annoying.... So my friend found a open figure 8 parking lot about a half mile away from his swap and after saving already for an rb, i knew i was't going to make it there. So i figured well im about 200 bucks away from an sr. Why not? Then this happened.

Then about a month later after getting the sr and everything needed for it.
We did this... ka on it's last start. Don't mind my friend speaking he was being sarcastic/and suffering symptoms from that one disease that retards have.
