So right now I have a KA24E in my car, and I'm uncertain if I will ever do the SR/CA swap, but anyway my question is this: Will an exhaust (such as Apexi N1 or Blitz Nur Spec) that fits the KA24E also fit an SR (in the case that I do do the swap, I would like to only make 1 exhaust purchase)?

yes it will, but what you should worry about is the exhaust pipe size, since the CA/SR are both turbo they are going to need bigger piping than the N/A KA24E, therefore you should choose exhaust sizing carefully

so would 2.5" suffice? Or should I go overkill and get 3"?

if you know that you are going to get a SR then go for 3" but if you don't know for sure then go with the 2.5"

Here is the deal.. if you get Apexi N1 duals.. you will be absolutely fine with the turbo application and NA... if you go with N1 singal 3", you will loose low end on NA and it will be perfect for turbo.. you make the decision

And I assume it's the same with the Blitz and HKS Hi Power, ect. as the N1 single? I don't really like the look of the N1 duals, but I like the sound~

ya, 2.5 would give you less top end power than a 3.0 but would give you better low end power

if you are gonna go turbo in the future.. then just go for the 3"... if not then go for 2.5.. that's it..
