They currently have 2 imports listed for sale- an R33, and a Toyota Aristo. The cars are represented as being fully legal. I asked if there was a bond release for the R33, which they replied no, and it seemed they were simply unaware on what makes a car federal legal. I kindly, and calmly tried to help them understand what makes a car legal, and they don't want to learn.
One of their sales staff [name removed at his request] was the first to contact me and simply came off as uninformed.
I was then given to Jeremy Williams (general manager) who thought it best to insult a potential customer. Here are some of the best replies:
LOL..Seriously? It has a clear title and has been registered in the U.S. Already. It has a current state inspection as well.
Hahahaha…Ok buddy. Thanks. The last right hand drive we sold, we sold to a police detective here in Dallas. I bet you're scared to Jaywalk too??
From the general manager! This is the most unprofessional s*** I've ever seen from a dealer. I would love to see them get hit hard and the cars seized while in their possession... before they con someone into buying one. If anyone has a way to report them, please do.Lol. As long as you can register it you have nothing to worry about. Who's going to take the car from you? Lol You're paranoid.
