Finally got a few pictures of some parts this weekend. I noticed when I was taking the injectors out of the fuel rail that some of them had this brown coating on the end of them that was cracking off. I'm assuming this is just build up and isn't supposed to be there.

Some of the injectors have little "pins" sticking out on the end of them too. Some don't. I just want to make sure these injectors are worthwhile to get sent off and flow tested. It's really tough to get a picture of them.

Onto the pictures. Notice how 2 of the injectors are lacking the "pin" all the other ones have.

Next topic...harmonic balancer.

How big of a chunk would you be willing to run one with? I've seen guys run some rough ones but I'm considering just replacing this one while it's out. Nobody makes an aftermarket crank pulley do they?

Pictures are at same link as above. I'd like to hear everyones feedback!

And last...what are these two sensors in the last picture? One of them I believe is the coolant temp sensor (red connector).

The other one looks like the sender for the temp gauge.

Serius KNOCK to destroy the plastic spray directors and more serious knock to eat the end off!

Get new plastic pieces and replace the one the don't ohm 12 +- 0.8 ohms or don't flow correctly within 2% of 370cc/min.

Thanks! Didn't realize those plastic pieces were replaceable. Or even supposed to be there.

What's everyone's take on the crank pulley...run it or get a new one?

And Q45Tech, what is up with the two injectors that are lacking that "pin" on the end of them?

Thanks for all your help!

Both a coolant sensors. The one with the red 'bosch' conector is for ecu and the other for the gauge.
