recently bought a 90 Hatch with the KA and man was I surprised at how quick it actually is. I was driving tonight and some jerkbag in a civic or accord nearly hit me so i hammered on it and just walked away from him. Just wanted to tell any prospective buyers of 240's you won't be disappointed!

My stock auto s13 kept up with my buddy's turbo'd d16 Civic hatch...

I was surprised actually, he didn't get his rear window past my driver side window at any time. Don't get too confident though, cause thats when you'll be embarassed.

swap to a 5 spd then add a turbo to the mix. then hondas aren't even worth the gas it takes to put 'em down. don't think you'll take everything though, but it does put you into 350z and v8 territory, lol.

A turbocharged D16 should be pretty quick, likely quicker than a stock 240SX. Was it 4th 5th or 6th gen? I suspect he doesn't have his setup just right.

I autocrossed a 1991 Civic sedan for awhile. Understeer galore and rolled like a ship at sea, but it held up just fine. On a good weekend I placed in the middle of the Novice class rankings with it. My time was even faster than one person running a late-model Subaru (think it was an Impreza RS, it actually was a VERY good day for me, and probably was a fairly bad day for him). With the Civic I never placed dead last, and it was just a DX Sedan.
