so my car wouldn't start last night. i tried off and on for an hour and a half. eventually i gave up and push started it to get home. Today i took my starter out and took it to kragen to get it tested and they said it was still good. i put it back and the car and it started right up, my battery gave a good reading and i recently put a new interlock relay in. does anyone know what it could be?

Corrosion on the starter power cables or signal, or oily ground to block, Should have cleaned and wired brushed all surfaces.

The solenoid can also be starting its road to death

I had an intermittant starting problem, turned out to be the relay under the hood near the battery (Big Blue one). I have a paper clip in there now and that works just fine . The car will start now without the clutch be pressed in. I havent gotten around to getting the relay and quite frankly dont care about it that much now. Someday i'll put one back in there.

that's the interlock relay, i replaced mine less than a month ago. i thought would solve my problem.
