Another s13 SR hotpipe question

if I pick up an intercooler kit which does not come with a hotpipe.can I use the stock intercooler piping to reach the intercooler kit?

I have a blitz bov w/flange on a stock s13 pipe so I was wondering if I need to get a hot pipe w/blitz flange or if I can get away without it. thanks very much.here is a pic of what I'm talking about I think its what they have done (although the engine bay is an s14 I believe)

hehe, Kevins S1345. Thats the hotpipe that came with my engine. What a nice guy I am, giving it to him.
