Another RB overheating thread

just an FYI for those running FALs, they have two sets of blade designs - Pusher blades and Puller blades. Running the Puller backwards to be a pusher is not quite the same. You can buy replacement blades and swap them in.

Not sure how much more they help, as I've always run the correct blades for the direction of airflow, but there must be a reason there are two blade designs made by FAL.

I will probably would use a wooden dowel that spans the whole "hoop" part of the plastic blades (without the clutch attached). Place the blades on the dowel and align it with two opposite holes on the flange as closely as you can. If the two halves are balanced then it won't rock. Then do this again with other two holes on the flange to check the blades that were on or near the dowel axis previously.
