Hey yall been absent off this forum for a bit and kinda forgot about it to be honest. But anyways I have had alot of changes to my pathy since I was last on this site and joined here. I was lifted when i joined here and was on stock size tires. The stock tires were really worn down, and one even had a bulge in it. A buddie of mine had a used set of 285 75 16 BFG AT's, which is basically a 33x11.5 in tire. I bought all 4 tires off of him for 150 bucks. So I had the tires and didnt have money for new wheels at the time. The tires fit on the rear just fine and tucked really well, the front was where the problem was at. The tires when mounted on the stock wheel would not clear the bottom of the strut. To clear the strut without buying new wheels, I went ahead and ordered a set of 1.5in wheel spacers. These wheel spacers are for a toyota but since nissan and toyota have the same bolt pattern they fit just fine. This pushed out the wheel and tire just enough to allow clearance of the strut. This was a cheap fix for me. Use of the stock wheels and backspace for that matter allows the tire to tuck perfectly in the rear, with no rubbage. I did have to trim quite a bit but removal of the fender flares was NOT nessicary. The trimming can just be done with a pair of heavy duty scissors or tin snips and a dremel or similar. The only rubbing I ever encounter is when parallel parking. When off roading I flexed out pretty good and got no rubbing. while I have not yet had a chance to really test out the new tires in actual wheeling situations, I suspect that if there is any rubbing it will be very little if any at all I must say that I have absoulutely no regrets going to the bigger tires, it gives it a totally different look and I get more looks going down the road. And the VQ def has enough power to push those 33's Anyways onto the pics. We all the pics I do have are in my youtube videos I would embed them here but I dont know how to so I will just post a link the first video is just of the 33's being put on and removal of the step rails, and a 0-60 with the 33's (badass) thats about it. The second video has an indepth look under the pathy and I show you where I had to trim and how much. I will post a few pics here for those who dont want to watch the video, but the video is just alot cooler to watch How it sits now is with the lights on. Hope yall like it, gotta rep the R50's

How do you like your manual locking hubs? I've been thinking about getting them myself.

The tires look pretty sweet btw.

The hubs are nice, make it easier to turn and also help out a bit with gas mileage.

Nice Vids! Pictures are worth a 1000 words they say, that makes a video worth a bazillion then. You were able to show Exactly where the trimming was needed, this should help others out alot. To fit the tires/rims I am running I had to trim in front of the wheels somewhat like you did but not nearly as much. U trimmed a decent amount but you cant tell unless you pointed it out, nice job. When you go to the KM's you may have to do a bit more trimming, they are really chunky tires and will have more tread etc since they will be new. Only seen one lifted R50 in person and that was in California. Gotta love the fact there arent alot around too. NICE WORK!!!

Exactly!! Anyone can use a sawzall and a hammer. How is the ride/alignment & what did u do with your original running boards. I am still looking for replacements for my original boards with undermounted rust holes....

My alignment is tricky, I drive on some pretty washboard roads down here and it quickly gets out of wack, but im getting it re aligned this comin week over my spring break. I still have my running boards and im pretty sure all the bolts that came with it. They are in my closet, just sittin there gotta move them soon taking up too much room. You can PM me if your intersted in them.
