Ok, Im thinkin about adding an aftermarket HU. Now my 93 Q45 has a CD changer with the controls under the armrest. How do those hook up to the stock Bose HU? By a bus line or an AUX input on the Bose?

Woodmister,On my 91 Q the power to my original Bose HU was red, 12v memory circuit was yellow all carried on the wide connector. The adapter harness from Crutchfield worked perfectly although I couldn't use the Q's non-amped speaker wiring(too small) for the 4 new centrally amped 6x9's. You'll also need an antenna adapter to split the Q's OEM window/mast type antenna leads. Can't help you on the changer wiring, never had one in mine. I got so tired of that buggy old Bose system and the new system sounds so much better. The difference between the Bose 4" to Kenwood 6x9's in the front doors was is phenomenal.

Good LuckSteve

Yellow is always hot; red is key "on" only.
