Another question about my Throw out Bearing

Alright today i dropped my transmission and got my old TO bearing but its on a release mechanism, how in the world do i get it off that??If anyones dun this please let me know how to do it.thanks!

yeah that thing was a pain and i almost had to take it to a shop to get it worked on. i finally propped it up on the side of a table and hammered off the throw out bearing. probably not a great idea but its the only thing i could get to work.

Yeah that thing's a bxtch. I had my TO bearing propped across two saw-horses with the carrier bearing hanging down. Spray a generous amount of WD-40 in there, grab a big Craftsman (in case you break it!) socket and pound that shxt out with a mallet. It'll give eventually...
