Just picked up the newest member of my Q family.

Some genius decided to glue "Real wood trim" all over the center console.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get it off without damaging the leather? I got a little bit off of the top, but that was only because it was poorly installed. The rest is on there good.

Thanks!!

Jason

dash is not leather, but vinyl. Most likely, the vinyl will be destroyed when removing the wood trim kit.Easiest to shop the classifieds here or your local junkyard and purchase replacement dash trim panels to swap with your wood covered pieces.

Ok, I had hoped to avoid that, but if that's the best way I'll just remove the vinyl and have it wrapped buy a friend of mine that does interiors.

As a last ditch effort, try using a hair dryer to heat the wood trim and see if it makes it easy to peel off cleanly.
