anyways, i figured out the pattern is m10 JH for the rear sway bar bolts that hold the bar to the subframe with bushings and little c clamp looking thing.

well anyways the thread pattern is very bad inside subframe and the m10jh bolt wont go in :[

the other side is secure, but this one i have a problem with and its annoying me since its the last thing i need done with the rear suspension

heres a pic, NOT MY car but to let you know what bolt im talking about. this guy had a little to much fun with underbody rubber spray

I also had some problems with a couple of sway bar bracket bolts. You have to be gentle when you start the bolt. Remove the bracket and try the bolt first and go from there.

Get a tap in that size and run it in and out a few times to clean all the crap out. That should make it like butter.

You will need to know the correct pitch as well for the tap. IIRC most of the M10 bolts I had to tap on my 240 where a 1.25 pitch(I think a few where 1.5, but most where 1.25) (don't ask me why I remember so well )

But double check it, before you booger the threads up with the wrong pitch'ed tap.
