If we knew what kind of car it is we might be able to help.

could be lots of things. Limp modefuel problemtiming problemMAF

Those are just off the top of my head, with out knowing what kind of car it is.

EDIT: Just noticed you screen name, you probably drive a black s14? do you have a KA or is it swapped? If it is swapped, what motor?

I had an issue with my KA not wanting to rev past 5.6k. Turned out that the top timing chain had one of the cams off a tooth or 2. Are you getting good fuel pressure? Is the timing set right? Is the MAF functioning properly?have you comp tested the motor?is it throwing any codes?

I would go back and double check the timing, make sure nothing has loosened itself and adjusted the timing or that the chain hasn't jumped a tooth.

That is all I can think of off the top of my head. I don't really have any experience with the SR's. Might have better luck getting this thread moved to either the SR or or online mech sections though.

Good Luck

ECU sounds to be in limp mode.

pull the maf out of the equ and see if the conditions change. if they stay the same it is the maf.

decent vac leak will cause this

leaky injectors.

bad ground....

you need to really get into all the specs of the car, what conditions you are experiencing and lay them out. otherwise it is impossible to diagnose anything.

anti-acids dont do you no good for a fever and anti-biotics are no help for a bad rash.
