Just wanted to give Stillen and Margaret Lo some credit...

I received my Injen intake this week from Stillen (G/B) 4 days before it was supposed to come in! That was a very nice surprise indeed.

The intake is very good quality and a very easy install. I found it easier to assemble the whole filter section and connect it to the intake outside of the car unlike the directions say. It just took a couple of tries to make everything line up (just the logos... I'm OCD with most of this stuff) My MAF Sensor doesn't rub and I have the 2.5 CVT. I zip tied the wires carefully away just to be on the safe side.

This has been fun a fun week doing mods around my house. So far this week I have installed my hids, my friend's hids, my intake, and painted my other friend's emblems. I finally got around to getting my speakers installed (the only mod I didn't do myself for peace of mind) so now I am happy until the G/B for springs

My take on the intake... I love it! it is way louder than I thought it was going to be in a good way. Very throaty and sortof raspy-deep at points. I had an AEM CAI in my Mazda6 and it didn't sound anything like this one (the AEM was excellent though as well). It also does improve throttle response by quite a bit in my opinion, but I think I make it do that by hitting the throttle harder with my foot just to hear the noise. It has a nice blip if you hit the gas and then downshift. Money well spent especially with the G/B IMO.(((Pics on the way)))

Did you take pictures of the install process so an article can be written up for those interested?

Hope so

No, sorry. I let my friend borrow my camera, so I don't have pics

The instructions and the other write-up are all you really need though. It is very simple and straightforward... enough for me to be mad at myself that I paid someone else to install the CAI on my last car

I plan on doing something in the future that is a pretty hardcore install and I will do a step-by-step walk through on that one
