i found a set of xxr 522 17 x 9 with a offset of 42for $840 out the door with some 225 / 45 / 17 mounted and balanced.....

i hate the wheels i have on my car now, and being married with a son, money isnt flowing, i wanted rota p45r's but im really tempted by this deal...

those wont fit in that size without like a 20mm spacer and have you seen those wheels in person.....

the spokes stick out a good bit farther than the "lip".......example

I like the idea of the wheels, but I feel as though xxr porly executed the design.xxr has better looking wheels for the same price IMO.My friend Jarrett got Enkies for $800 shipped to his door with tires mounted and balanced.Do research and get what you really want.

They look good at most angles. I just wish the spokes didnt go out then come back to the hub at such a dramatic angle. Its just too much. I would rather the XXR 521. If your four lug you are S.O.L. on width though. But thats me.

The spokes on the 16s look like they poke out a lot, but on the 17s and 18s it's a lot less.

In person they don't look like they stick out that far.

I see that helping. Because that is the only downfall of that wheel in my eyes. The only ones I have seen quality pictures of are the 15", and it was just aweful.

The reason the spokes come out that far on the 16s is because they are 16x8 +0; super concave. The 17s are higher offsets, therefore looking a little less aggressive.

Yeah it makes complete sense once I actually thought about it. I would like to see a good size mounted on a s13.

Keep an eye on MagnumJr .375's thread today. He got a 17/18 stagger of those wheels and is getting them mounted today IIRC.

O, that should look good. If it looks good it will be between the 522's and the 521's for me. I'll definitely keep an eye out for it.

Thats exactly what I ment, but obviously they are not showing all sizes, so there may be a good size that they are just not showing.. And yes there is plenty of good fitting wheels for 4 lug.
