Yesterday and today, I have had another opportunity to compare my 2003 M45 (20,250 miles) to a 2004 G35 loaner (5,400 miles). I have done a similar comparison before (see zerothread?id=41491).

The results are still the same. What I said then, particularly in regards to the engine smoothness at high rpm, and effortless results when flooring it, still applies easily now! Braking might be the only place where the G35 is better than my M45.

My M45 will be at the dealer for this weekend and a few more days early next week (the part did not show today) - for a replacement of the "throttle body", whatever that means - and I miss it!

The G35 is fine by itself, but ... just not quite in the same league as the M45. Sorry, G35 owners!
