...but your help and opinions do count on this guy...MO LE 2010...nav,awd..now the question....the DVDs in the headrest are another $1500....should I considered getting this (you know grand daughters rule!!!) aftrwards?...are the cheaper after market installs?...how much?...any issues oerating the DVD?....and most important..IS IT worth it?...Thjanks a lot to all for the advice....the LE loaded with AWD,DVD,NAV and mud flaps..$42650 sticker...whoa!!!!.....wonder about how much close to invoice I will be able to get it

You can likely get them installed much cheaper on your own. I was going to have the dealership tint my widows when I got my 09 SL, but the sales guy was actually helpful and said that if I took it to the place in town where they send their vehicles for all that stuff, I would pay a lot less- on the order of $40 for the two front windows, and it took 20 minutes. At least in San Antonio, all the dealers send all that stuff out to private businesses. IN my case, the same place that did the windows also handled all the TV screen installation for my Nissan Dealer. They said that at the dealer I would get charged $1500- whereas if I took it straight to them, the total would be about $500. So I would try to figure out where your dealer sends their cars to have this stuff done, and you will save a ton of money.

On a side note, remember that headrest DVD players are a BIG theft issue. All you have to do is bust a window and take them out. I have waited to get them in my car.

Did you do the mod to your Murano that allows the DVD player to play on your front nav screen while the vehicle is driving?

Thanks for the reply...yes I read that here somewhere..but I an asking many questions so as to decide if I buy the Murano what decisions should I make based on others experiences....besides I think that that DVD option could be troublesome if the driver gets distracted for a minute or 2 unless is to be used while the car is parked...
