Whats up everyone?

Ive been reading the forums for a few months now. I recntly purchased a 1993 240 shell for $300. Im going to be honest, at first, I was all die hard SR20DET. I was that close to buying a front clip to do the swap. That is untill I was corrupted by one of my friends. he had a very fast ka-t a while back, but he sold it. He got me turned onto the k motor.

ive been very impressed with some of the numbers out out by the ka, specifically the DE. My daily driver is a honda accord.(yeah, yeah i know but its reliable and good gas mileage). Im working all summer for parts and such. Bring on the KA-T madness. (Damn, im going to be so broke, but its going to be worth it.)

Im shooting for 350-400whp. Im pretty much have a good idea of what I need to do to get there, but first and foremost, I need a motor to start with. I know it will be a while before I get there, but its going to be great when i do.

here it is. 4 wheelin style with no motor

i know that's not the way the car sits, it must be on some kind of jack or stand or somehting but it looks soo rediculous... like you put xterra suspension on it or something lol. anyhow welcome to the kat world. the numbers just keep getting better.

yes, indeed, there is no motor in it. It used to have an blacktop SR in it from the previous owner and it never ran that good. i think it just needs the right motor.

I dont even have a drive shaft or rear diff either. im looking to pull one from a J30 here in a week or two.

yeah, ill admit i was all about the SR but I saw one too many people who ended up blowing SRs. If im going to risk having to build a motor, Id rather spend a few hundred on a KA then $3000 for the SR.
