long story short, i'm driving along...change lanes approaching a stop light...the girl in front of me slams on her brakes for the yellow...lets off to go thru and then slams on her brakes again cuz she changed her mind...i slam on mine to stop thinking my z32 brakes will get me to a stop short enough...my luck that there is gravel all on the road and i slide right into her rear at about 15-20 mph...not usually a big deal...she's a little shaken up but ok...i'm fine...but oh good god...

here's the damage report:

-front bumper-hood-left side fender-grille-core support-radiator-my precious FMIC-headlight(s) not sure yet i havent had it in me to survey the damage closer

the hood is stuck shut but i think it's all good...no frame damage, all wheels/tires/suspension etc is ok...FMIC can be repaired...

bad news...it's my fault, I guess it is...I still dont feel it is though...the girl even said herself

me: oh my god, are you ok? im soo so sorry, i didnt think you were gonna stop!

girl: yeah, i didnt either...but then the light really turned red so i did...

me:(crying like a newborn child) this was all of my money..i put my whole life into this...

girl: aw, i'm sorry...well my car is ok tho

technically, yes it is the frame. But its not a major part so you can get it fixed. just have the guys put you on the jig and check it out to see if it is still straight. It probably is good and will cost you about 600-700 to get it pulled out and new front bolted on. Maybe its time for that kouki front... insurance should give you plenty.

BTW your story is exactly the same as mine; thats how i got my S13 front on my hatch :)

:pface looks like you need another filter, too. It doesnt look that serious. I knkow, it does look bad, but im pretty sure that it can be bent out.

You may have enough to get a new IC counting on insurance, and doing a little fixing on your own. I would say get the frame and core support replaced/bent out by a shop and drive it home. Do all the fitting and stuff yourself and put money into that kit.

Thats not bad at all... Have faith. You will need the frame on the driver side straightened by a shop. Its gonna cost you some pretty money but the structural integrity will not be comprimised. I had a accident very similar to my S14.

I have to say your radiator propbably bit the dust too man. Dont scrap it though :( thats another one that will bite the dust.

It'll buff out.

Seriously tho, my hatchbacks rear quarter panel is in worse shape than that, I wouldn't worry about it. Just get it fixed. Quick.:)

it'll be better then before...that's all...CF hood, new nice bumper...koyo w/ electric fans! maybe samco hoses or something cool like that...definately no worries now...my dad has promised we'll get it fixed...he says he knows how important it is to me and that we'll fix it ASAP...

hell i threw up after the accident...it was NOT pretty

I dont know dude your core support looks bent and thats gotta be welded back in. When I got in my accident, it was the other ladys fault but in my rebuild I had to get a new core support.I hope it all works out for you though, what was the damage to here car, a scratch?

Im pissed off thought, I spend $732 on a stupid clip that had a bad bumper and no fenders. Stupid people need to get there act straight. im supposed to get money back for the bumper though. sorry stealin the thread.
