one thing i cannot comprehend for some reason is offsets. So if someone wants to explain it to me like im 3 then id appreciate it.Anyway. Heres the question. Im looking a 17x8s in the front and 17x9s in the rear. Which offsets are better? 28 and 42 in the front and 17 or 27 in the rear? Thanks

the best way i can explain it is the center of your wheel is a 0 offset. when you move +15 you are moving the spokes 15 millimeters towards the outside of the wheel from the centerline (0) of the wheel. -15 would be 15 millimteres closer to the inside. chet will answer your questions on what offset will work better. hope i helped.
