Long story short I wired my z32 Maf wrong and ended up melting the harness, I was tired of messing with Maf sensors and went megasquirt now when I turn the key to the on position fuel pump constantly primes the relay clicks for the pump to turn off but just changed the pitch of the fuel pump. I am getting no spark I am getting fuel. I have 12v at the coil but no signal power. And yes the cas disc is oriented correctly.

Try getting a coil pack from a working car and test again.

Melted harnesses rarely stop at the water's edge, and on most older ones the MAF supply is all tied up with the ignition and/or ECU supplies. Did you track down any melted sections upstream before converting to the 'Squirt? It sure sounds like you have some crossed power conductors.

A new harness from Wiringspecialties would be good to budget for. How old is the one you're working with now?
