Hello, new to the site and nissans in general. Just about two weeks ago I traded a '06 Mazdaspeed6 GT for a '08 G37S 5AT. Got a great deal for it too with only 22k miles on the odo and the dealer settled from an asking price of 31k to 26998.

Here's some pics:

I wanna take better pics but it has been raing cats and dogs for two weeks here. Anyway I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here.

Yeah it was not easy to part with the MS6, that car put a smile on my face every single day for three and a half years. But each time I sit on the G I remember why I traded it. Plus I welcome the 5AT, as much fun as the 6 speed was, it can get kinda old every now and then. The only things I miss the most is the AWD. And sudden torque rush when the turbo kicks in. I find the VQ lacking a bit on the torque department but I like how it keeps pulling and pulling as the rpm's rise. Plus that VQ music coming out of the tailpipes is something every single car enthusiast should experience. :)

As for plans, I don't think this car needs much, I'm planning on keeping my warranty so no twin turbos or supercharger for me. Maybe an intake and exhaust and upgrade the stereo and some rims. But of course that's how the mod bug starts!

I assume you have/had one? They're great cars and fairly quick, wasn't easy letting her go. Maybe a few years down the road if I find one for an attractive price I might just buy it!

No, I've never had one, but I drive a regular 3, and I love most of what Mazda is putting out. The MS6 is going to be one hard car to pick up, considering it had a limit of 2 year production. It's, IMO, a collectors car.

Do you have anymore pics of it? I would like to admire the thing. :gapteeth:

QUICK! Trade it back in and come back to us! :P

I greater than backwards 3 that front end. It's 100% better than the N/A front end. What other mods did you do to it other than the new top mount?

Lol checked the dealer's website and apparently they already sold the car! I knew that was wasn't gonna be lying on that lot for months. Hope she went to a nice home.

Yeah that's one of my friends at autocross. His MS3 was much quicker around the cones. As for mods I only had the top mount, one step colder iridium plugs, and the intake. For visual I put some rims and a sharkfin antenna.

I don't think I'll ever run into a white GT but who knows. I'm really gonna miss driving a rare car.

MS6 is easily the most underrated sedan of the decade.

I would agree. I surprised quite a few 350Z's and G35's. The MS6 felt quicker than the G because of the torque, but I raced a G37 and he left me in the dust. But that was on the freeway.

The problem with torque isn't the motor in the G, it's the transmission!

Switch your autostick over to DS mode. Stomp the gas in 1st while rolling, shift into second, and stomp it in 2nd. Trust me, All the torque is there. It lunges the front end up like the damn thing is gunna come off the ground. No it is not AWD, but that's a little torque session for ya. Try it, but only in safe areas!!!!

Thanks everyone! I drive a lot in DS or M mode, but I still can't get over how lazy the 1-2 shift is even with VSC off, to the point I'm starting to think there might be something wrong with the transmission.

The MS6 was more of a track car, it didn't do well on sharp tight corners because it was too nose-heavy and the stupid 0 degree front camber. What surprises me is that the G is a FS car while the speed is a DS car. I missed today's event but I have way too much going on, I should make the next one.

Yeah I was DS with the stock Mazda but after installing the intake and TMIC I got bumped to ESP. It was me, the occasional Legacy GT and a bunch of Mustangs and Camaros.
