whats up guys, i just picked up a 93, 130k miles with a blown trans for a real good deal. selling my hatch to fund it.

plans right now are just to get it driveable so i can sell my 89 hatchback and start building it.

firt mods with parts i have laying around:68k mile engine and 5 speed trans out of 97 240se, with full length header, lightweight underdrive pulleys, light weight flywheel, act street/strip clutch, 1 piece driveshaft, and injen intake with cold air extension. oh, and maybe s13 cams if i feel spunky.also doing 5 lug with z32 calipers, brembo rotors, and 17x8 fn01's on the front 17x9's on the back.

wish me luck.

That is one HOT rainbow air freshener!!!

Seriously... nice car! I love the color... I think that red is pretty rare color for the 'verts. Great Find!

Keep us updated on the progress.

looks like its in good shape. Only mods I have questions about:1) 1 piece driveshaft- for a stock ka this is totally overkill and I know 3 ppl that have tried 1 piece drivehafts and all of them have switched back to stock after not being able to tame vibration problems. The stock one is plenty stout, especially for your modest plans.

2) 97 SE... how are you planning on swapping this? thats an OBD-II motor, so you either have to use the 97 harness and ecu and rewire it under the dash or you have to use the S13 parts, harness, and ecu (I think you may have to swap the head but I don't remember off the top of MY head).

goodluck

That looks real clean - The maroon (if it's maroon and not red) is the rarest color on a vert.

I've seen a couple maroon ones before like this....the harder color to find in a convertible is silver....there was a really gorgeous one for sale on Ebay last year that I almost bought, the only one I have ever seen in silver....beautiful though.

Nice cars!
