I'm a newbie as you might seem. Just registered today. Lost my 13.5 sec honda civic because some punks decided to rip it out of my driveway one night. Haven't been recovered yet.
I'm thinking about a 240sx now. Of course, with a new SR20DET motor. I'm new to Nissan so now, I'm looking for a 95 up (newer model) 240SX and drop a SR20DET in it. I know you guys already done this, so I need expert advices. Is it like a motor swap on a common honda civic as for nissan, in this case, 240sx with a SR20DET? I hoping that it wouldn't be so hard. I'm thinking pull out the nissan motor, drop the new SR20DET right in. But I'm not sure, so please let me know. Thanks a bunch guys.

And yes the swap you mention is fairly common, though I will defer to our 240SX crowd to divulge details ( am from the Infinti side).
If you go into the 240SX boards here, you will find we have several active subbaords dealing with mods in general (technical section) or with particular engines. You might wanna check out those as well.Also we have a search button on the top right.It's kinda small and hence hard to find.

Yes, I had MSD system, and nitrous. running 75shot zex with 65 psi boost of fuel seemed to do the job. I'm not the greatest on show cars because I work on my engine more. That's why I have won 3 trophies so far this year in bracket racing. I always love honda because I hate poeple saying an economy car isn't worth suping up. That's why I want to show people up with my civic. But it's time for me to change to a different car and explore the difference in power.
