Hey kids--Just thought I would do a quick intro. I joined the G35 ranks last Saturday when I picked up a 2004 G35x. I test drove a 2003 sedan locally, but they wanted too much for a wrecked car (obvious previous damage and $25000 sticker). In any case, I knew this was the car I wanted to replace my 2001 Limited Toyota Sequoia. I searched and found one in Chicago and ended up with a killer deal.

I wasn't big on giving up my Sequoia, but >$3 a gallon gas prices and two SUV's in the family more or less forced the issue. I love the G35. When I got married, I got rid of a 1978 Corvette hot rod in favor of a 1991 Rippie-prepared ZR1. When my wife and I found out we were going to have a baby, that ZR1 went away as well. The G35 offers real world practicality and is (dare I say) as much fun to drive as the Corvettes!

I have already been looking into some upgrades for the car, as I can never stop screwing with cars I buy. I hope to learn a lot from the boards and maybe even contribute a little occasionally.

Bryan
