I never thought I would see something different other than our usual Nissan/Datsun cars that we own. For some of you that know me I had the Laser, that I heard from a few friends on here to get rid of and well.....its GONE! Yippie!

The title for the Laser came in the mail today and went to pick up something fun to drive. For a trade in of a car and get back $200 dollars plus the Samuri was a good deal to me. I have to say for the first car (the laser) I owned and was in my name it felt good to see that title in my hands for a few minutes until I turned it over or the "Sami". Our new/used/old car we have is a 1986 Suzuki Samurai JX, 1.3L, soft top. The Sami has been a challenge today for me and Mark, mostly him. Before we made it to the Insurance office today we ended up stopping at a junkyard on the way there to find plug wires better than the ones on it (since it was on the way) and Auto Supply store (later on) for a new fuel filter which helped out. In the end it ran somewhat better than what it did. Tomorrow though it will be getting a tune up and a bath. The inside isn't so bad, a little rough but just needs some cleaning.

This vehicle is going to be great this year for both of us. A/C=no top. Heat=what heat it don't work and now its warming up you don't need it. Bring a jacket and your fine. Going to be doing some light camping and 4 wheeling. Best of all, Mark is going to have the pleasure of showing me how everything works on it. Bye bye sports car, hello Samurai! :D

There will be pics posted up later. I'll let Mark have fun with that.

Yeah I knew a guy who jacked it up and put some 35s under it. After he did that the crappy motor would barely turn the wheels over so he upgraded (hahahaha) to a Tracker motor. That thing looked mean with those tires so close.

Reminds me of the fun I had when pops had a sidekick. It was no samurai, but it was still fun as hell.

Were thinking about a Sidekick/Tracker motor for it one day. Poor little 1.3 is kinda weak. A nice 1.6 would work great
