Post

So I got this new job where I just sit around and get on the internet all day and I have been watching a lot of movies. So far, in the week that I have worked here, I have gotten through the following movies:

Dead Snow (Norwegian Nazi zombie movie. Awesome)
Brain Dead, aka Dead Alive (Peter Jackson zombie movie from 1991, Awesome)
Clerks
The Strangers
Jackass 3
Baseketball
High Tension (thanks Stacey and her scary movie thread)

I think I'm missing one or two, but that's about it. I'm running out of good movies I have not seen. Toss out a good movie or two and maybe I haven't seen it or forgot I wanted to see it. Next on the list of things to watch is Se7en. Give me some ideas here!

The last Dragon???? :spitout: I saw that once on TV and found myself asking how to get back my :90 back, though Vanity was nice to look at. Her singing drew a crowd of cats.

If you're looking for train wreck movies that are not comedies but you cant help cringe and laugh at, how about

Showgirls
Gigli
Battlefield Earth

For great classics:
Harold and Maude
The Great Race (mindless but fun)
Slapshot

I just recently watched a movie on Netflix called "Alien vs Ninja." WATCH THIS MOVIE!!! It is one of those movies that is sooo bad that it will make you laugh your a** off. Horrible/cheesy effects, bad story and all around (bad) awesomeness. It has been a looooong time since I laughed this hard.

Finally someone else who's seen Dead Snow.Norwegian people have really weird sex habits. That girl who came into the outhouse scene :barf:

But it was funny to watch. We had a party of people over to watch it and tried to make a drinking game out of it.

Baseketball...one of the funniest movies no one has ever seen

Well, I work from 10-6 today and plan to get through Kickass and Ichi the Killer. Ichi the Killer is downloading presently. Yesterday I watched Se7en. It was pretty good. The ending wasn't as good as I had hoped for.

Wow...some of the movies recommended here really SUCK

Ninja 3?? I mean really?? That movie blew chunks compared to Revenge of the ninja and Enter the Ninja. If you're going to recommend a Ninja movie, it's those 2.

Anyways, I recommended High Tension, glad you liked it. Check out a movie called Once were Warriors. It will probably be nothing like what you're thinking (because of the title) and it is REALLY good.

Alright Razi, I just finished Moon. I liked it. I'm usually a fan of those type movies. I would have liked a more elaborate ending, but it was cool. Any more suggestions? Ichi the Killer is STILL downloading. I think I'm going to start OldBoy next.

EDIT: Because G_Whizz is now a trusted recommender person, I have gone with Once Were Warriors.

I like movies. All kinds of movies, although, the little known movies are often little known for a reason. I do like discovering the "diamond in the rough" type movies. I'm not into Kung-Fu or Anime or stuff like that. I'm not opposed to a good Japanese flick, so long as it's just that: good. I like movies that make you think.

EDIT: Audition looks creepy as fcuk. Definitely on my "to watch" list.

In that case, I would suggest any of David Lynch's movies. They can be pretty out there. I watched "Eraserhead" and after it was over all I could think was "WTF did I just watch?!"
